Learn how to find and book self-guided property tours.

Finding Properties

Map View

  1. Open VADO and tap the Map tab
  2. Navigate to your desired area
  3. Tap property pins to see details
  4. Use pinch gestures to zoom in/out

List View

  1. Tap the List icon (top right)
  2. Scroll through properties
  3. Sort by price, date listed, or distance
  1. Tap the Search bar
  2. Enter an address, zip code, or neighborhood
  3. View matching results

Using Filters

Find exactly what you're looking for:

Price Range

  • Set minimum and maximum price
  • Use slider or enter exact amounts

Property Details

Tap Save Search to get alerts when matching properties are listed.

Tap any property to see:

Photos & Media

  • Swipe through photos
  • Pinch to zoom
  • Tap for fullscreen

Key Information

  • Price and price per sqft
  • Bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage
  • Year built and lot size
  • Days on market

AI Summary

  • Property highlights
  • Pros and cons
  • Neighborhood context

Features

  • Interior features
  • Exterior features
  • Appliances included
  • Recent updates

Booking a Tour

Step 1: Select Property

  1. Tap Schedule Tour on the property page
  2. View available dates and times

Step 2: Choose Time

  1. Select your preferred date
  2. Choose a time slot
  3. Pick tour duration:
    • 15 min: Quick walkthrough
    • 30 min: Standard tour (recommended)
    • 45 min: Detailed viewing
    • 60 min: Extended visit

Step 3: Confirm Details

  1. Review property address
  2. Confirm date and time
  3. Read any special instructions
  4. Tap Confirm Booking

Step 4: Wait for Approval

  • Auto-approved: Instantly confirmed if you're verified
  • Pending: Agent reviews within 24 hours
  • Notifications: Get alerts on status changes

Managing Bookings

View Upcoming Tours

  1. Go to Tours tab
  2. See all scheduled tours
  3. Tap for details

Modify a Tour

  1. Open the tour details
  2. Tap Reschedule
  3. Select new date/time
  4. Confirm change

Cancel a Tour

  1. Open tour details
  2. Tap Cancel Tour
  3. Select reason (optional)
  4. Confirm cancellation
Cancellation Policy

Cancel at least 2 hours before to avoid potential restrictions on future bookings.

Tour Requests

Request Status

StatusMeaning
PendingWaiting for agent approval
ApprovedConfirmed, ready to tour
DeniedNot approved (see reason)
CancelledTour cancelled by you or agent
CompletedTour finished

If Denied

  • Check the denial reason
  • Request alternative times
  • Try similar properties
  • Contact support if needed

Calendar Sync

Add tours to your calendar:

Automatic Sync

  1. Go to SettingsCalendar
  2. Connect Google, Outlook, or Apple Calendar
  3. Tours auto-added with reminders

Manual Add

  1. Open tour details
  2. Tap Add to Calendar
  3. Choose your calendar app
  4. Event created with all details
